Description

This modern impressionist painting of a vivid canyon along the Colorado river outside of Arches National Park at sunset is painted in reverse on plexiglass. The resulting art is multi dimensional, vivid and has a free, abstract feel. The front of the painting is the high gloss of plexiglass. The painting is done in a interesting technique applying the layers of paint in a reverse fashion. This painting was done for the Moab Plein Air festival outside in real time, sitting along the Colorado river at sunset.
