This painting is painted in reverse on plexiglass. This technique layers the paint on the back of the art adding 10 to 20 layers of paint in a reverse order. The last layer is laid in first, the opposite of a traditional painting. The resulting painting has the high gloss of the glass on the front with the texture of the paint on the reverse side. The effect is spectacular adding incredible dimension and vivid color. This work has vivid green, purple and metallic gold accenting the life size abstract aspen trunks. Beautiful!
